The other day I broke the LCD on my T60 (model number 1951-4BM). I believe it was a 14.1” XGA LCD screen. So now I’m looking for a new LCD but I thought I would upgrade as well.
I’ve seen a few SXGA+ screens on eBay. Will it work if I just take out the broken XGA and just plug in the SXGA+? Will I need different hardware like cables or a different inverter card? If so how do I find out what model/type of cable/inverter I need?
Upgrading XGA to SVGA+? What do I need?
