I bought myself a T23 notebook base from Ebay. It was advertised as working but without LCD parts. It works fine if connected to an external monitor, so the ad was coorrect so far.
If a LCD panel is connected then it lits up white, no picture shown. Already tried a second set of cable/LCD with same results.
Now I'm looking for the datasheet of the Super Savage /IXC chip.
I like to know if it has sepearate outputs for the lines to the VGA connector and LCD connector or is it an external analogue switch which does the trick.
So, if someone has the datasheet then please share with me. Still searching on Google...
EDIT:
As far I can see the LCD is driven directly from the video chip.
Guess the mainboard needs to be replaced then, probably the video chip is not 100% ok.
