R40 fail to install/run access connections

Having just reinstalled this R40, and updating the drivers and all.

Everything works fine...but... I am unable to use access connections (newst built in 7mcn26ww.exe) it installs fine, but the program is not present in the thinkvantage start menu group or any other place for that matter.

What could be the problem?

EDIT: just figured this out. The install file only EXTRACS the access program. You have to run it (setup.exe) from it's default extraction location on the c drive. Jeez... took me so long just to figure this out, thought I'd leave this one here in case others wondered!
