Resetting Access IBM, System Information, Warranty & Par

Does anyone know how to reset or refresh the information found when you select the Access IBM application (via blue button or link) and then click System Information, then Warranty & Parts.

I swapped drives between two ThinkPads, but I can't figure out how to refresh this information.

I am not positive this will work, but try running the following program. C:\IBMTOOLS\eGatherer\launcheg.exe

Alternatively, you can try running Automated Solutions in Internet Explorer from the following page.

Thank for the suggestions but neither helped.

When I check the Warranty & Parts information the details are for the original machine, not the new one. Some file is hold the old information and Access IBM doesn't do an automatic refresh.

OK, I just found it. It was actually easy. I just right clicked on the information page and it told me the location and file name.

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\ibm\Access

I just deleted (renamed first actually, then deteled after it worked) the entire Access directory - it had four html and xml files containing the warranty and model information.

When I ran the Access IBM application again, it recreated the directory and files with my current model and updated with currenty warranty information.
