iwiDarwin (Intel Wireless driver for OSX) - working or not?

Anyone gave this a try?

http://code.google.com/p/iwidarwin/

I tried it on my iw2100 equipped X31 - and all it does is blackscreen it.

Kinda.

I installed this and my wireless card (2200bg) became active. However, the driver only detects unsecure or ad-hoc networks. Definitely a step in the right direction. Anyone else? I'm new to this board.

I've had to install and uninstall various versions
of the iwidarwin drivers. Since I'm not a big fan of the command
line, I figured I'd make uninstall apps for the three different
drivers.

This is my first attempt at anything like this since my BASIC
programming days (am I dating myself?), so let me know how these work (be nice).

Check http://groups.google.com/group/darwin_iwi/files for the disk image called "iwidarwin uninstallers.dmg"

Thanks again, and good luck!

suck it up like I did and buy the Lenovo wireless card with Atheros chipset in it. It works natively in OS X as an Airport card.
