[Solved!] Unable to download "7awc26ww.exe" from I

#1 Post by lowie » Mon Jun 18, 2007 4:10 am

See for yourself, the driver i need to install wireless a/b/g card, is not downloadable. I've tried 5 times in the last 24 hours so it can't be related to peak traffic.

Anyone out there who can help?

Regards,

Wietse

The directory on the ftp server containing that driver file is empty. Contact Lenovo. You might be able to use the Intel driver (see intel.com)

I downloaded it a couple of months ago ok. Being the weekend, perhaps they were doing maintenance on the ftp site. Try it again, later today.

Yeah that should be fine temporarily, but I would advise you to get a hold of the official Lenovo/Intel Driver version and install that when it is available.

It seems like IBM put the directory back in place. Downloading the file takes veeeeery long though.

I will however uninstall the Intel driver and use the IBM package, because this Intel driver does not support FN/F5 wireless switching.
