I use a 19" Mitsubushi DiamondPro 630 CRT that I picked up for free in CL. I wishI could afford an LCD!

I no longer possess a desktop pc but had a 15'' Phillips few years ago.

Until recently, we had 19" Sony CRTs (18" vis.). As we move to the USA, these were not compatible (220V only), so I sold them.
Found 3 NEC 15" LCDs gathering dust in a school I did the website for, and got those for free. They are rather good, considering they were made in 1999. They are in a container now on their way to the USA, because they happened to be 110/220V.
Once we get settled in, I'll buy 19" LCDs for the family, don't need any bigger.

Dual 17" Dells at work. I like them a lot. I just wanted higher resolution for home, so...
Dual 20.1" Planar 2010M monitors at home. A wee bit too big despite the narrow bezels, I but got the 1600x1200 resolution I wanted. I've got a visualization problem because now I need a bigger desk to put distance between me and the screens. heh heh...
Would've gotten dual 17" or 19" 1600x1200 if I were able to find one. Why is it that at the time (earlier this year), I could've found laptops with 15" 1600x1200 screens but couldn't find a monitor with that resolution...
Given the above, I voted 20 since that's what I have at home.

This sounds really interesting. Maybe you can post pictures in the "Pictures of your ThinkPad setup" conference.compnerd4 wrote:What size is yours?

I've recently added a larger LCD to my system to replace an IBM P200 CRT that's been retired. It will do double duty plugged up to both my desktop and ThinkPad dock since it has both a DVI and analog VGA input. It's an interesting panel from Acer on which there is almost no information. It's a clone of the F20, 20" LCD from Acer's Ferrari line. Other than the lack of red stand and accents, it's identical to the F20 in all other respects. I haven't been able to find any sellers or even references to this monitor on the Acer site. So far, it looks like the performance it pretty good, but I won't really know until I get my desktop set back up.
Does anyone else around here know anything about it? The seller (which is a refurshisher) calls it an AL-2023WD or AL-203WD So this and a 15" secondary LCD add up to 35" of LCD total.
edit: I've figured out that it's in fact an AL-2032W and found drives on the rather convoluted Acer site.
