Thinkpad BIOS update - ver 1.08

Today when I tried to do the Lenovo update using the Thinkvantage System update , Thinkpad BIOS Update ver 1.08 was listed as one of the Critical update required. I have ver 1.07 on my machine. Before doing this update I want to make sure if this does not have any issues on Windows Vista having a Core 2 Duo processor.
Check this article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/930093 . Has it got any reference to this update ? I guess no.

Certainly no. I updated mine yesterday, working like a charm, they made a fix for docking issue too.

This problem occurs because the Lenovo ThinkPad BIOS update utility that is dated December 12, 2006 or earlier is incompatible with Windows Vista.

I updated mine and it works perfectly. I checked for the BIOS version in the BIOS server utility and BIOS version is updated to 1.08 while ECC is still 1.07. So I assume ECC update will be a different patch.
