Help, T60 Recovery failed!

#1 Post by zhoncheng82 » Tue Jun 19, 2007 2:33 pm

I tried to revoery T60 to its origianl factory state by recovery CDs.

I tried two times, there was no error duing the loading phase. After the 5th CD loaded, laptop rebooted automatically and then it entered the Rescue and Recovery. After a while, a window poped up and said "Product Recovery failed during the convertion phase".

Anyone has any idea about this?

P.S :Since I don't have a CD burner on this machine.I requested this set of CDs from IBM in last year. There are totally 6 CDs. 5 of them are for recovery and one is for rescue and recovery.

I recently got and successfully used a set of CDs from IBM. There was one boot CD plus 6 recovery CDs, numbered 1 thru 6, thus 7 CDs in all. From the information on the CD labels it seems that they are for all models of T60/T60p. They are dated 18 January 2007.
Current: T60p (2007-93G). Previous: T23 (2647-9LG).
