Strange noise from AC adapter

Hi everyone,

I've noticed a strange noise coming from the AC adapter of my T41p when the laptop is switched off, but the adapter still plugged in. The noise is quite high frequency...sounds a bit like a buzzing fly and can be only heard when it's silent.

Any ideas if this is normal?

I had the same buzzing noise on one of mine. Checked my other two power supplies and they were much quieter so I sent it back for exchange.
