My newest arrival-T60 2007 with a couple pictures

#1 Post by mgo » Fri Jun 22, 2007 6:19 pm

Came in today, ordered from Bill Morrow. I've only spent a few hours with this machine, but it seems to run very cool and is virtually noise free.

Love the screen..sharp and clear and just pretty to look at. This is my smallest laptop ever...with the 14.1 inch screen. My others have 15 inch screens. Just can't beat the high res 1400 x 1050 resolution. I use larger fonts and other settings for my 68 year old eyes...and it works great!

The usual superior keyboard and other ThinkPad excellence!

One gig of RAM, 5400 rpm 100 gig drive. Running XP Pro and maybe Vista if I decide to buy another hard drive that I could use to make a quick switch when the mood hits me.

The pics show the machine lookin' back at ya' and the little plastic feet I've cobbled up for cooling and better keyboard angle.

Nice, I already love it.
"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.

Well they were when I looked. In the first picture he showed his 14'' T60 with captions telling he likes to keep his desktop area clean by putting less icons.

In the second snap, he wrote in the captions and showed white support stands that he likes to put under his laptop to keep a passage way for heat and that it helps him feel more comfortable typing that way.

If it's the same 2007 T60 I got from Bill, it's easy to see why you like it. I do too :).
