T60p wireless problems

I have a t60P and love it. However when I unplug the machine the wireless connection drops and does not reconnect until I restart the machine. I updated the drivers using the ThinkVantage and it still happens any thoughts? I have the Lenovo wireless card (not the intel one) if you need anymore info please let me know
