TABOOK terminology - optical drives

#1 Post by kjarrett » Fri Oct 15, 2004 5:22 pm

October '04 TABOOK lists 2373-KXU with a DVD-RW, but the definition says:

"Some: CD-RW/DVD-RW Multi-Burner / removable from Ultrabay Slim"

Does this unit have the multiburner or not? What does "Some" mean?

I take it that "Combo" means a CDRW/DVD playing drive.

Thanks, kj

Yes, that particular unit has the MultiBurner.

The reason the TABOOK listing says "some" is because some of the units listed on that page don't come with the MultiBurner.

Yes, Combo drive refers to a combination CD/DVD drive.
