I've successfully installed Vista Home Premium on my T60, using a spare hard drive. I also added more ram for a total of 2 gig. The drive is 5400 rpm. Its a fresh install, not an upgrade. Aero and Flip and Sidebar all work well...but I've opted for the plain old Classic desktop, because it's easier on my eyes and brain.
Seems fast, and stable. Wi-Fi works, ethernet works. Now then..which other downloads do you consider essential for Vista? Hot keys utility, Ultra Nav? Power management? Your suggestions are welcome.
By the way, I get the so called "experience" score of 4.0. That's pretty good, isn't it?
