t61 price

#1 Post by mugged » Wed Jun 27, 2007 11:46 am

I want to get a T61 for college but I don't know if I should wait longer or get it when the next sale hits.
Can I expect the price to drop any time soon or when the t61p comes out?
Did the price of the t60 fall when the t60p came out?
How much will the t61p cost?
Thanks for any help guys

First off, what are you going to be using it for? Games? As a college student myself, I play my fair share of WoW, but not much else--and the rest is filled with academics. I only advise waiting for the -p if you want more raw power (graphics specifically).

If you're waiting for a sale, I'm guessing that there will be a July 4th sale coming up in the coming week. Also, if you order with a Visa card, you can get a (stackable) 20% discount.

As far as prices, I don't think anybody can say for sure.

I'm gonna be an enginieering student so I will be using cad and 3d modeling software. Other then that I will be playing the ocassional game but i have no problem turning down the graphics detail.

"if you order with a Visa card, you can get a (stackable) 20% discount"
how does that work?

if any of you remember was there a significant drop in price for the t60 when the t60p was released?
