#1 Post by aMadUrchin » Wed Jun 27, 2007 5:17 pm

Can this be done? If I wanted to reinstall the OS (XP or Vista) on the X61s can I boot from an external firewire dvd drive?

While I have not tested, I doubt it can. The only notebooks I know of that can boot from IEEE-1394/Firewire are those from Apple.
