Installing Ram question.

So after i put another ram in (1 gig) it is compatible with the T60, i locked it fine and all but when i restart the laptop, it show and error saying hard drive issue then blue screen! help plz

Well, the first thing to try would be to remove the new ram module and attempt to reboot and see what happens. If everything is fine, then try installing the ram module again. If the problem appears again, you probably have a faulty ram module. However, you probably should also then try switching your original known to be good ram module into the second ram slot just to make sure the problem is not being caused by the second ram slot itself.
