Help me with issue with my x30 lcd?

Hi, I just got in a x30 2672-41U. This thing is missing the hardrive and memory ram. With those two missing, I powered it and thought it will go to bios. Well, it does power on(I hear the fan going off), but there is a blank screen. I also hear about 5-6 beeps at start. Does the screen stay dead like that without ram and hardrive or is it the lcd itself. Please any input on this would be nice.

Without memory you will not get anything on the screen.

Don't have any direct experience with an X30 system, but generally, if there's no RAM then there's no screen (and there will be some beeps). Download a copy of the Hardware Maintenance Manual from here:

edit: Clarified the statement about the 'beeps'; previously it could have been implied that there would be NO beeps with no memory.

Please let me know if I got the right memory card. Is it pc133?

Yes. PC133 CL3 (CAS Latency 3) is what is spec'ed for your X30. If your module is CL2, that will also work too.
