T60 with Memory Parity Error

#1 Post by arthurcorell » Wed Jul 04, 2007 8:03 pm

I have a T60 wich is 8743-GZU. I have blue screen on the laptop.
It said: "Memory parity Error". It happend a couple of times in last week.

It just happened when I use it on battery. It never happen when I put it on the advanced dock station at all.

I run PC Doctor for DOS and nothing wrong.

Any suggestions?
Thanks

Try looping memtest86 for a few hours to see if it uncovers any errors.

Another (free) alternative is memtest86+, an off-shoot of the original memtest86 program:
