x60 tablet coreDuo to core2Duo upgrade, any info?
considering this at some point in the next year or so, only 200 or so for a core2 @ 1.6ghz. can anybody point me to some information on this kind of swap?

You should always try searching for info before posting.
All X series' CPUs are soldered on to the motherboard, meaning that you would need to replace the whole board to upgrade the cpu.
