Hey,
from the very beginning on I have had only problems with the preinstalled DLA: it doesn´t recognize CDs (which are recognized on other laptops), CD formatting is required without any reason (and I mean really without any reason) and when actually not needed and so on. So, I was thinking of uninstalling DLA and finding something better, but uninstalling Sonic DLA didn´t help much as DLA is stil required for drag&drop...(even after I uninstalled Sonic DLA!)
Any help to fix the problem (meaning either uninstalling DLA or repair) or suggestions for good alternatives of DLA will be highly appreciated!

This thread appears to provide an alternative to DLA that has worked well for some. I've uninstalled the Sonic software and have installed this solution myself, but haven't had the opportunity to test it yet.
