swap X60t, X61 LCD panel

#1 Post by bin.dong » Sun Jul 08, 2007 8:19 pm

What if I wanna replace X61's LCD panel by X60t's? X61 is faster than X60t, but the regular 1024*768 screen is not good enough for me. However, X60t has the indoor/outdoor screen, which is I like. I am wondering that anyone did this before? Or is this possible?

The table panels are thicker due to the touchscreen sensors. As a result, I suspect that it would not physically fit the non-tablet X61 -- even before considering the electrical or electronic ramifications.

According to the diagrams in the HMM, the cables and inverters look very different for the X6* tablets and non-tablets.
