Automatic audio switching (analog/digital)?

#1 Post by Aleq » Mon Jul 09, 2007 11:25 am

One I docked my T60 with XP I used to have, digital out started to work. Now, in Vista I need to click on Speaker icon, Choose Playback device, right click on Digital S/PDIF and set it preferred. Once undocked, I have to do the same in reversed order (almost). This is too cumbersome, don't you think?

Any ideas how to simplify this?
Either have the same functionality as in XP or at least some kind of utility (command line parameters), that would turn the S/PDIF or Analog output preferred.

I would like to script much more, let's start with this one :-)

Thanks!

Try Quick Sound Switch - I've had some success with this. And it works in Vista (although the homepage doesn't mention this). And it's FREE! :D
