Connection dropped with certain sites and/or pictures.
I have been having a small problem that I find puzzling. Now and then, when I look at certain sites, my wireless connection is dropped and I almost always have to reset my router. I don't think it's related to the router, as my wife's laptop works fine with those same sites. Hers is running XP Home, whereas mine has Vista business.
Just this morning I was looking at an old motorcycle that I am interested in, and it kept on dropping the connection and I could never see the pictures. I suspect that it's related to the pictures, but why would that be, if the pics are hosted by ebay itself?
This happened both with Firefox and IE. Here is the link to the item on ebay. Has anyone else experienced these problems? Any possible explanations or solutions? Any answers are greatly appreciated.

See if the following is any help. Some of these issues could apply to Firefox as well. Personally, I would suspect some sort of problem with Java.

GomJabbar,
Thanks for the answer. However, it does not seem to be related to IE settings. It only happens once every month or so, and like I said it seems that everything else on the page loads fine, except the pictures. It appears to be downloading the pictures and then puff!, it drops the connection, and the pictures never appear.
For instance, when I did the search on ebay for BMW R90, there were three other bikes for sale, and they all showed up fine, it was just that one item and seemed to cause the problems. It has happened with other sites as well, like a newspaper once.
In any event, I will keep on researching it and see if I can find what the problem is.

Just some other ideas. Not sure how relevant they are.
An outdated network router may not function correctly when you use it together with new networking features in Windows Vista
You may experience connectivity issues or performance issues when you connect a mobile PC that is running Windows Vista to a wireless access point
Some firewalls may reject network traffic that originates from Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1-based or Windows Vista-based computers
