T60p grim diagnosis :(

DHL just dropped off my laptop.

Everything seems to be working now.

Total time without a working laptop: 21 days.
Laptop trips to repair depot: 2

I must say though, everyone I dealt with on the phone was very professional, even when they were telling me what I didn't want to hear.

I was a little [censored] to get a broken laptop shipped back to me the first time, but I am over it now.

Hey Osaka - Where in Houston are you located? I have a 14.1 and have been considering a T60p with 15" UXGA screen for a while. I am wondering if we can meet sometime and do an in person compare.

I wish I could go to a store and compare a bunch of IBMs with diff sizes (12.1, 14.1, 15.1, 15.4) and resolutions (SXGA+, UXGA, WUXGA etc).

Anyone else from Houston want to do a local THINKPAD meetup?
