No, it can't.
"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.

Practical performance differences between 533 and 667 were far from noticeable, let alone 667 vs 800.

Oh well, though my Laptop was kinda slow so just wondering.

Though I think I can attribute it to my 120gig 5400rpm drive... which will be out as my System Disk as soon as my Hitachi 7k200 200gig 7200rpm drive comes today :D

But for many people (including myself), it's psychologically satisfying to know that the fastest possible RAM is being used.

Yeah, thats the point

and yes, that difference is only mensureable by benchmarking tools, where it gives few % difference in specific benchmarks. Its psychologic problem... I have that too :)
