Omnipass for Vista on 3000 N100

#1 Post by s_ranzau » Tue Jul 10, 2007 1:51 pm

I've been looking around the web for a solution to the problem when upgrading from XP to Vista on 3000 N100... Lenovo doesn't have any fingerprint software for Vista when upgrading. They only ship Omnipass through their Recovery Discs (HOOORAY for Lenovo?)

Then I found out, that several laptop producers use the same type of fingerprint reader, and then I found Omnipass v5.00.13 on LG's website and installed it on Vista... apparantly it's not a trial version! :D

The program applies to LG models M1, P1, S1 and T1, but works flawlessly on my 3000 N100.

I really hope it's not a trial!!

Download it here:

Hi,

I had the same problem with my V100.

Maybe you should take a look at 3000 N200 support pages, you'll find the solution...

Any application to handle the fpr. I do the other way : downgrade from Vista to XP. Still haven't found this software...

Looks it can be found from LG support (-> notebook - > M1, P1, S1 or T1 model) : http://fr.lgservice.com/index_b2c.jsp
