Thinkpad warranty valid in Hong Kong if bought from Bill?

1. Has anyone had actual experience confirming IBM-Hong_Kong honours its Thinkpad 3-year International Warranty, for buying from www.thinkpads.com (shipped from USA to Hong Kong)?

2. Does anyone know if the new T42s (fingerprint scanner model) come pre-installed with SP2 of Win'XP-Pro?

I live in US and bought a T40 in HK two years ago with the Int'l warranty. IBM does honor the warranty here in the States as I have received serveral warranty services from them without any problems.

I think they would honor this warranty in HK.

I bought a T41P from Bill and he FedEx it to Dubai U.A.E. And yes it is under warranty! I'm sure it would be in HK as well.
