New KB: NMB or ALPS ?

#1 Post by marcos » Wed Jul 11, 2007 12:08 pm

Hi,

I'm about to order a new internal keyboard for my T43, and I can choose between NMB and ALPS maker.
I like the 'semi-firm' touch that I've found in most (but not all) TPs.
What is the best choice in your opinion ?

Thanks for any advice!
T440s OK so far.
T420s NVIDIA graphics. Nice, then MB failure.
T400s Workhorse. two of'em, both faulty display with vertical stripes.
T43 °very nice° - MB reflown and dead, two of'em.
T42 15°, dead onboard wireless.
T40, dead memory slot, stolen from me
T30, stolen from me
TP600 dead

NMB.

This thread has an awesome comparison among the keyboards.
"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.

Great info, thanks!
I see the one that I have currently is Chicony, and it is very good. But I need a localized keyboard, and will order NMB.
