Any clue of why my screen is the full 14.1" with the new AC adapter.

Your gonna have to rephrase. I have no idea what your talking about.

Changing the adapter has nothing to do with screen size. I use a variety of adapters (my old one, my spare, my new one, my client's spare, etc.) and it doesn't change the screen size or expansion in any way. Something else changed. ... JDH

Pete summed it up.
"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.

Sounds like the OP's display didn't fill the entire 14.1" screen with the old AC adapter but it did with the new one.
