Fn+Fx... doesnt works.... {solved}

#1 Post by mnezor » Sat Jul 14, 2007 7:42 am

Hallo guys!

I just uninstall some thinkvantage software from my thinkpad and now when it begins have only 35 processes runing. Thats good .. I can feel the difference .. lts like I put another 512mb memory dimm :)

I left only... system update , fingerprint software , power manager and active protection system.

But now the Fn+Fx (x=1-12) does not work well.

the only works:

Fn+F4 works

Fn+F5 no menu appears and just disable-enable bluetooth. No wireless .

On screen display is installed.

what else I have to install.
I want my Fn+F5 menu back
:(

Thanks in advance!

The problem solved...

I had disabled the service ThinkPad PM service.
..\WINDOWS\system32\ibmpmsvc.exe

I enable the service , now all Fn-Fx keys works great.
