Access Connections with Vista
I have numerous crashes where the recovery process uninstalled/disabled Access Connections. I think these are related to Norton 360 and/or 2007 on there (I have tried and removed both).
What are other finding with Access Connections?
I don't think I really need it except that it does a nice job of running the Verizon WAN card I have in the T60P.

Re: Access Connections with Vista
It runs well for me under Vista on a T41.... which has never had anything Norton installed on it!jgrobertson wrote:What are other finding with Access Connections?

No issues here. Running Access Connections on x64 Vista Enterprise with profiles for wireless, LAN, hotels, customer sites, etc. I'm also running Norton Internet Security 2007 and using a Sprint USB WLAN card.

Access Connections Vista issue
Overall Access Connections works well for me in Vista on my T60. I do have one annoying problem which did not occur under XP. I have AC set up to automatically connect to either my Wi-Fi or wired connection depending on which is available, with preference for wired. It switches back an forth OK when I connect or disconnect the ethernet cable. However if I close the cover while it is connected to the Wi-Fi, it will not automatically re-connect when I resume. I must manually click on "Connect" to re-establish the Wi-Fi. It works correctly if I have the wired connection active when I close the cover.
