combo adapter for G41

#1 Post by winslow » Sun Jul 15, 2007 12:30 am

I have a combo adapter (car, air, home) for my T23, was wondering if there is also a combo adapter for the G41. I can't seem to find one listed so understand this is a long shot. Anyone ever see or hear of such an animal?

AFAIK, there were no combo adapters made for the G41. It was kind of an orphan in the ThinkPad line that was contracted from Quanta (aka Dell's primary contractor), so there weren't many items made for it. Unlike everything else in the TP line (up till the current 20v models), the G Series required a huge adapter that outputted a lot more amps than the others.
Family Daily Drivers- T430s, T530, X220
Work- Sadly, the ThinkPads have gone away...... and replaced by HP ProDesk SFF drone machines :(
Other Projects- Edge 15, Z61m (Titanium)
Historic Retired ThinkPads- T42p, X20, A31p, 701c, 760XD, WorkPad C505

I found a 15v DC to 120v AC (up to 150 watt) inverter into which you can
plug your standard G41 power adapter on ShopLaptop.net.

That could (inconveniently) take care of the car problem, but didn't find
any answer to the air problem anywhere.
