Wireless not showing up in FN + F5

#1 Post by seanism » Sun Jul 15, 2007 12:46 pm

I have a fairly fresh install of Windows SP2 and everythings been working great. All of a sudden when I press FN + f5 my wireless NIC doesn't show up in the panel. Only bluetooth does. It gave me a message about reinstalling the drivers which didn't bring it back. Anyone else experience this?

Is there a proper order I need to install things?
Driver then Hotkey Software?

Do you use IBM Access Connections or not ?

The best way is:
- uninstall Access Connections
- reboot
- uninstall driver
- reboot
- install latest driver and update hotkey software
- reboot
- install Access Connections
- reboot

try skipping access connections and see if that helps too.. after you install the drivers and hotkey stuff then test it out then before install active connections.
