Need buying advice:How is the screen on a 1024x786 15in t42?

I know its not flexview, but is the display good? I have a flexview screen and it is awsome, but I'm looking at this laptop for someone else who doesn't need/want the high res screen, but would like something larger than a 14.1 screen. Can anyone with one of these models comment?

I had one for 2 days and didn't like it.

I thought it was dull and not very sharp, which certainly doesn't mean that someone else would not find it very nice.

Probably has a lot to do with what the user is used to.

Don't have a T42 yet but I'm planning on buying a 15" 1400x1050 model. I can't imagine why anyone would buy a 15" 1024x768 unless they had serious vision problems. Go for a 14" screen and a much smaller T42 if you want a 1024 display! I've used a few different 14" 1024x768 Thinkpads and the screen is PLENTY big enough for that resolution. Just my take though.
