Memory Speed (Patriot PC2-5300 VS OCZ PC2-5400)

Hi,

I have both Patriot PC2-5300 2x 2GB and OCZ PC2-5400 2x2GB.
I want to find out which brand is faster.
What free benchmark software should I use?

find the specs on each unit and get the CL or CAS Latency specs. smaller numbers are faster. if each one is equal then speed should be the same or so close that you'll never know the difference.

The Patriot brand 2GB sticks have a CAS Latency of 5. I have them installed on my notebook

Except G.Skill module F2-5300CL4D (CAS 4), all DDR2-667 runs CAS 5.

if latency is the same on both modules then i'd be surprised if anyone could humanly notice any speed differences.

Even difference from CL5 to CL4 can't be humanly noticed !
