power problem t20

I do not have any lights at all, when I press power button the lights come up and the battery light starts flashing (orange) then It's shut down, no booting nothing. Same thing without AC, looks to me that AC does not charging the battery, but laptop should start when AC is pluged in?
Any idea, any help please

Remove the battery and start on AC only. Does it power up?

No, without battery I do not have any lights, nothing

Do you have another way to test/charge the battery? It sounds like the battery might be dead, and the T20 isn't getting power from the AC adapter.
