I'm really considering the 2373-3UU from Bill.
I was just curious if this model has the The IBM® UltraConnect™ Antenna?
Also, I'm kinda worried about the SXGA+ display on a 14.1" monitor. Wouldn't everything be real tiny? How would web pages, games, and dvd's play on a resolution setting of 1400x1050?
I have a princeton LCD screen with my desktop (17") and although its native resolution is 1600x1200 i use 1024x768 and nothing is blurry at all.
If i wanted to use a resolution setting of 1024x768 on the SXGA+ would it be real blurry?
Also, I was curious if it has the ability to play doom3 decently. I don't think it will. It's not a high priority at all though.
Thanks,
Eian

I have very bad eyes, and although it takes a little getting used to, it looks great after a few days. I do a lot of coding (I'm in computer science), and honestly, after coding on the sxga+ it's hard to code on anything lower.
How would web pages, games, and dvd's play on a resolution setting of 1400x1050?
Most webpages look fine, although the occasional one looks small. Games run fine (higher res is better), although I have yet to get some dvd's.
Also, you can always increase font sizes, which can really help.
On a side note: I actually find the start bar too big (mabye I accidently made it that way). Does anyone know a method to shrink it down a little bit?

For the toolbar, just put your cursor at the top of it and you can click on it and shrink it to almost any size.Vasant56 wrote:On a side note: I actually find the start bar too big (mabye I accidently made it that way). Does anyone know a method to shrink it down a little bit?
For the Start menu, in case I misunderstood, right click on the toolbar, select properties, select the checkbox next to "Show small icons".
