Why is my T61p order so incredibly expensive?

19% VAT!

I thought no country has higher VAT than Israel (we have 15.5%, was 18% at one point).

we got 20% in austria

I can beat that - 25% VAT in denmark!

And everything imported with a value of over approx 15USD gets hit by import VAT - uh and this including the shipping costs - why not??

It depends on what the sending US shop says the value of the packet is. With mine, they have put the value exc. shipping on the box.

And what about 60% VAT in Brazil??
Everything above $ 50 USD (shipping included, of course) import VAT will hit!
