linksys wap54g don't work with wpa2 aes in bridge mode

#1 Post by AdaSch » Wed Jul 18, 2007 12:14 pm

Hello TP fans,

I have two linksys wap54g AP. They don't work with wpa2 AES in bridge mode. If change security to wpa tkip bridge linksys works correctly. Is someone know why? What is wrong?

I think if i remember from reading the documentation from setting these up, this will work with a WRT54G and WAP54g on the same network but not two WAP54G's. Check the setup guide for both.

note from help

"Note: When set to "AP Client" and "Wireless Bridge" mode, this device will only communicate with another Linksys Access Point (WAP54G). When set to "Wireless Repeater" mode, this device will only communicate with another Linksys Access Point (WAP54G) and Linksys Wireless-G Router (WRT54G)"
