Price advice on new R61
This is new TP R61 with following specs:
Lenovo R61 Thinkpad
• Intel Core 2 Duo L2500 1.83Ghz
• 1 GB RAM (1024 MB) DDR2 789Mhz
• 14.0" WXGA Widescreen Display
• Resolution: (1280x800)
• 120 GB Ultra ATA Hard Drive
• CD-RW/DVD Combo
• Integrated Intel Graphics Media
• Accelerator 965 Chipset
• 5 lbs.
• Battery Life: up to 6.0 hrs.
• MS Office 2007, Windows XP Pro
The laptop also has a Secure chip, finger print reader, trac-point and touchpad.
Asking price is $1100. The model number is 7733-FS7 and I don't have the serial number - yet.
Please offer advice on asking price and any pro-con comments on the R61.

Make sure you are getting the COA sticker for it. Otherwise, it's an illegal installation and you are required by law to uninstall it.nctalkinghead wrote:MS Office 2007

University of North Carolina is going to give you stolen software? Unless you have a specific need, Open Office is just as good and free.
