"error loading operating system" after Repair Part

After doing a system restore using the repair partition, I am now greeted with a message saying

"Error loading operating system" when my poor T61 boots up.

If i restart after that, everything loads fine.


Cold boots, and restarts from the OS lead to the error message...

Any ideas? : /

T61 on Vista..
