#1 Post by Atlas64 » Fri Jul 20, 2007 12:18 pm

Hi, is it common for the mouse to strangly move by itself. Mostly all the thinkpads ive had have done it. Also where is the best place to purchase a battery, when i bought it, it didnt come with one. I just got wireless so id like to move around with it. Just needs to last maybe 30 or 40 min. thanks

The mouse cursor should stop moving if you take your hands off it for a few seconds. It shouldn't actually need to do that often. It may be heading towards failure, which requires replacing your keyboard to fix.

You could get new batteries for that machine directly from Lenovo until a few months ago. You can get a new battery from Kahlon for $52 for 3600mAh or $69 for 4000mAh.

Used batteries are risky, but I've had good luck buying new sealed batteries on eBay.
