I have someone here who is thinking of selling his T41p. I was wondering if there is any interest ... It is in very nice shape cosmetically. I'll get the system details in tomorrow.

Okay, the price is going to be in the 450-550 range. I have not talked to him and finalised the price yet, but this will be range ... obviously this a 14" machine (only from T42 we had the 15" T4x series).

I will post the machine details over the weekend.

If you ship overseas, I'd like one. Depends on the processor speed and videocard if it's worth it. Please send me the specs and price (+ s&h would be nice).

It's a Banis processor most likely 1.7GHz

the GPU is the ATI FireGL T2 128 card with 128MB of RAM

Here are the details. I have 2 (two) T41p laptops for sale (another student also decided to upgrade). both machines come with the stock parts (do a lookup in lenovo's site, 512 MB and 60 GB 7k60). Here are the details:

Machine #1: STILL AVAILABLE
Model: 2374-GGU
Serial#:(PM me for details)
Warranty: expired on 2007-03-24

Known imperfections: Small chip near the USB ports - plastic is missing between the two USB ports in the back (just noticed this). No stickers, no undue scratches on top ... machine does have few scuffs on the top, typical for a used laptop, nothing severe, no issues with video/USB or anything else. Screen is very good, no dead pixels, works awesome.

Machine #2: SALE PENDING
Model: 2374-GGU
Serial#:(PM me for details)
under waranty till 2007-09-02, includes protection service.

Known imperfections: Has a T41 clear plate (he got the wrong one, the original one kinda fell off). Few scuffs on top, typical for a used laptop. Perfect condition otherwise, no USB/video issues, no dead pixels, works great.

Price for machine 2 is $500 (shipping extra) since it is still under warranty and is cosmetically better condition. Machine #1 will set you back by $450 (shipping extra).

Both machines come with 512 MB RAM and a 60 GB 7k60. Both machines come with a 9 cell battery. If you are interested, or want further details, please PM me.

T41p's score well in Vista. With enough RAM, they'll run Vista very well.

I just shifted houses and haven't set things fully yet. Thanks for the tip ... the machines are in great condition and work perfectly. I'll try rto sort things out and post a pic or two if possible.
