I figure with so many system builders on this forum, someone has some an extra unregistered Vista OEM copy they might want to sell for a reasonable cost. It doesn't matter if it is 32 or 64 bit. PM me with offers. Thanks!

You cannot buy OEM operating system software without buying the computer with it. I locked the thread (against the rules), but if someone here wishes to sell you a Vista computer, they can PM me and I will unlock. ... JDH

I got a couple of PM's from people that OEM Vista is available with inconsequential pieces of hardware such as any old 56K modem or even a cable from places such as NewEgg. One of the PM's suggests such OEM versions are for system builders and so have to be tied to their motherboard on first install.

I think, if people want to buy OEM operating systems, they could easily go to NewEgg to do that. This will avoid any appearance that our good forum is being used to sell OEM operating systems in an inappropriate way (even is just an appearance).
