WTB - Recovery Discs for HP Pavilion zd7000

A friend has just given me this HP laptop that doesn't boot up. I usually would not buy it, but free is for me!! The hard drive gives the BSOD, but when I put the HD in my HD adapter in my R40 it recognizes it. I was able to read everything on it and recover all of the data, but with some new drives from coolname1 , I want revive this to new.

It has the license for XP Home, but any XP Pro is preferred. Thanks

I've got XP Home SP1 CD, original HP/Compaq, titled "Operating System CD". Let me know if this works for you.

It is illegal to restore a system to an OS other than the specified license on the machine.
