error 0210 stuck key 1D

#1 Post by koolzero » Mon Jul 23, 2007 8:18 am

A remote user has a T43p laptop that is saying stuck key press F1 to setup when she turns her machine on so we sent her another shell and she said it is still giving her the same message. It seems kind of weird that 2 shells are doing this. Any ideas what may be causing this if the machine isn't booted into windows yet?

What is a 'shell' and does she have an external keyboard hooked up?

A 'shell' is a spare laptop. She did not have an external keyboard hooked up.

There are (2) possibilities that I can think of. First is that she is physically holding down a key/s when the machine boots. Second is that you have (2) defective keyboards. I'd get both machines and try them myself. PC Doctor 5 has a keyboard test, ...run it.
