Rescue and Recovery questions

Hallo,

I had some problems with the hidden partition used with the Access IBM button. Then I downloaded the Rescue and Recovery from IBM.
Do you think I can install it and replace mine with no problems?
Will I lose my OS? Can I do a factory content restore after that?

Rescue & Recovery should install without any problems. It is a complete replacement for Rapid Restore etc.
I would advise you to read the deployment guide (link below) as it gives a good description of the product and different installation configurations.

You will not lose your current OS. Basically Rescue & Recovery installs it's own "Recovery desktop" and various other components (including Rapid Restore).
