Moroner is right.
If you see diplay corruption on the POST screen, the problem isn't caused by drivers, etc.
It could be a heat issue.
I use an Antec Notebook Cooler with both my TP's.
And since both were used machines, I disassembled and cleaned them.
I've used Omega drivers for my racing/gaming machine for quite a while, but not on the A31P yet.
Included with the Omega drivers is a utility to test VGA RAM.
Also Omega has another utility to completely clean old drivers from Windoze.
I would try Moroner's and stingbandel's suggestions, and maybe mine too, before considering the most likely cause.
Display corruption is usually caused by failing or defective VGA RAM.
