Is Verizon Sierra CDMA2000 Rev A?

#1 Post by TomF » Thu Jul 26, 2007 7:13 am

I'm about to buy a T61. One of my main uses is Broadband Access with Verizon. Verizon recently announced that their whole network is Rev A. It does not look like the current offering (Sierra CDMA2000) for Verizon WWAN is Rev A even though it says "NEW" next to the listing.

What's the deal with that? Dell is offering Verizon Rev A.

Can another card be put in the same location? Are there any options to get the built in antenna with Rev A.

Thanks
570 --> T40p --> T61

Both EV-DO flavors of the Verizon embedded card are available:
FRU #41W1177 = Verizon EV-DO Rev. 0
FRU #42T0929 = Verizon EV-DO Rev. A
